Our experienced Security Surveyors are able to offer a complete range of Security products & our advice is entirely free.
IP Fire & Security is an independent Company and therefore not tied to any particular manufacturer, enabling us to assess and evaluate each product based on its merits, providing our customers with a reliable quality system at competitive costs. New products are evaluated and tested for at least 12 months before joining our product range. This policy ensures Quality Control so that only the very best of the industry’s products are provided to our customers. Your system will be installed by our trained engineers who have been security screened in accordance with BS:7858 and have been DBS screened. In addition, our operational staff are accredited with CSCS Health & Safety Cards and the comany is a member of the SAFE contractor scheme.
Our Sales Secretary will arrange for a Surveyor to visit your home or business at a time to suit you. Your time is valuable and you can be assured that our surveyor will be punctual for your appointment. Our surveyors are technically qualified to design a system, providing you with practical, reliable & efficient security.
On completion of our free survey, a full specification detailing the design of the system together with our quotation will be sent to you. Should you have any further queries, our Surveyor will be pleased to discuss these further either on the phone or via a return visit. You can be assured of our high integrity in all discussions regarding your security arrangements.

Ian Dickinson joined the security industry in 1981, after completing his apprenticeship. He joined the installation team of a major North London company, later moving to the Capital Service Deparment and becoming a Supervisor in 1986. In 1992, Ian was promoted to General Manager & became a Director in 2000. Ian is one of the founders of IP Fire & Security.
Steve Kelly joined the industry in 1971, completing an apprenticeship with a national company & eventually joining their installation team. In 1981, Steve joined a major North London company as Installation/Service Supervisor and in 1995, was appointed Service Manager. Steve is one of the founders of IP Fire & Security.
Paul Thistlethwaite joined a national company in 1962, after serving a 5 year apprenticeship. He served his time as an Installation Engineer & Service Engineer and in 1974, joined the Bank division of a major international company as a Technical Surveyor. In 1977, Paul transferred to Australia and was appointed Sales Director. In 1979, he formed his own company which he managed with Ian & Steve until 2009. Paul is one of the founders of IP Fire & Security.
Health and Safety Policy Statement
Trough professional advisors, the Company will endeavor to keep up-to-date with current requirements on Health and Safety matters. We will observe all relevant Statutes, Regulations and Codes of Practice, review problems and hazards both observed by and reported to members of Senior Management and ensure risk assessments are conducted and acted upon in all relevant matters.
